In 2016, Alexa Ochoa utilized an MPRA scholarship to pursue a degree in Psychology with hopes of attending law school and pursuing a career in the JAG Corps.

In 2017, Chelsea Rodriguez used her MPRA scholarship to help her achieve her dreams of becoming a mental health nurse and serve our nation’s service members.

In 2018, Glory Schroeder decided to attend Western Washington University and use her $2,500 MPRA scholarship to chase her dreams of majoring in Computer Science and building a career as a software developer or videography.

Since 2006, over $276,000 in generous gifts from our MPRA members have been distributed to these scholarship recipients, as well as 292 others, with the intention of helping them further their education and achieve their professional goals.

In 2019, we distributed $38,000 to 32 scholarship winners. We have raised the bar and set our goals high for 2020. We invite you to be an active part of our effort to award a record amount of scholarship funds to more recipients in a single year than we’ve ever had before.

Our goal during our 2019 MPRA Scholarship Giving Campaign is to raise $10,000. Our campaign will run from December 3 – 31, 2019. Every penny donated during this campaign is distributed through scholarships and because we are a 501 (c) 3, all donations are also tax-deductible.

Our MPRA mission calls us to: promote the history and preserve the traditions of the Military Police Corps Regiment while supporting Military Police Leadership, Soldiers, and Families Army-wide. We know there are a lot of great organizations asking for your support, especially at this time of year, but our team asks that you consider making a contribution that will directly support Military Police Families around the world.

This year, we’re using a tool called Qgiv, which is specifically designed for nonprofit organizations to securely collect donations and to simplify the giving process. To give, click this link, select the amount that you’d like to give, and complete the check out process.

Our MPRA team would like to thank you for your time and consideration regarding our MPRA Scholarship Giving Campaign. If you have further questions, please contact us at: [email protected] or 573-329-6772.
