On November 21, 1990, the Military Police Regimental Association was founded to promote the history and preserve the traditions of the Military Police Corps Regiment and to support Military Police leaders, Soldiers, and Families.
As the premier Military Police professional organization, we are fully aligned with the Military Police Corps Regiment’s visions. Through our Legacy Programs, including our Benevolent Fund, our Scholarship Fund, and our work with Memorial Grove, we are able to engage and support Military Police Leaders, Soldiers, and Families throughout the Regiment.
This year, as a way to honor our Founders Day, we will be hosting a Day of Giving. On November 21, we will be asking our members and supporters to consider giving directly to our Legacy Programs. 100% of all donations to our Legacy Programs go directly to MP Soldiers and Families and all donations are tax-deductible.
Over the next week, we’ll be sharing information on our social media platforms about our Legacy Programs, including personal stories about the impact these programs have made on our fellow MP brothers and sisters. In fact, you can click here to read about the first of many of these stories.
It is your support and dedication to the MPRA that have allowed us to reach so many MP Families throughout our 28-year history. We look forward to celebrating our Founders Day with you next week during our Day of Giving event!

I am definitely interested in supporting this program, however, since you’re asking for contributions, I’m surprised that you didn’t share examples of how these funds have been used in the past, or provide a link to a website so potential benefactors can see first-hand how the program assists Soldiers. Asking people to blindly contribute may not yield the best results or have the greatest impact. Promising to share such information in the near future, in my view, diminishes the likelihood of someone returning to your website to contribute.

      Hi Mark,
Thank you for your comment and interest in supporting the MPRA’s Legacy Programs. We have provided extensive information about our Legacy Programs, which include our scholarship and benevolent programs and our work in Memorial Grove throughout our website. In the above post, we also link directly to another blog post that was recently written highlighting our scholarship program. You can find it here: https://www.mpraonline.org/mprascholarships/. We have been sharing additional information about our Legacy Programs on our social media platforms and via email over the past week, including how many families we have supported and amounts we have distributed over the years. If you’d like us to provide you with more information, we’d be happy to do so! Please send us an email to [email protected] and let us know what additional information you would like to receive.
      Thank you!
